Nobody know why apple refuses to return to their home land, US has whatever China have, young talent, manufacturing fab, low cost labour that willing to work for Amazon, easy credit, raw materials, everything they wish for, but apple refuse to return.
chinese labor isn't that cheap anymore, but it's still cheaper than american.
the big draws IMO are very weak (basically nonexistent) unionization, lack of regulations (like environmental ones), cheaper raw material costs due to scale and sourcing from china itself, faster internal supply chains.....
trump did lower the hell outta corporate taxes, bringing them closer in line with china, which should make USA production more attractive. both countries allow for extreme corporate tax loopholes anyway though so i'm not sure how much of a difference the 2017 tax cuts made.
Nope, Chinese is not cheap, it’s the US who’s cheap. Chinese are the most expensive talent to hire. Many Chinese are highly paid than many US cheap CEO.
