The thing with hardware wallets is that they are costly and no newcomer will invest huge amounts in buying a hardware wallet...
I would really like to know on what you base your opinion when you say
"huge amounts"? I don't want to offend anyone because I know that a lot of people in this world live very hard with less than $50 a month, but they can't afford to invest in Bitcoin, and some don't even have access to the Internet. The promotional sale of Ledger Nano S ended yesterday, which included a 50% discount - and I think the price of the device was around $30 + postage. I don't think we can characterize that price as something that is expensive and unaffordable for most.
The problem for you and others like you is that you've been telling the same stories for years without really checking how much something costs. Wake up, it’s not 2016 anymore.
