People will not tend to believe on something they not impossible but if you can provide proof with your claims maybe best to show it here since those proof can silence the people questioning on what you are saying here. But I really don't care on how things go or the result of it since as long as I enjoy the game I'm totally fine with it.

It is a fact that there are families that were ruined due to gambling addiction.
There is also a fact that there are people who get rich because they got that lucky strike. And there are people who make a living out of gambling (try to visit a land-based casino and interview "resident" people in there)
And it is also a fact that many of us pretend that we gamble for fun but actually hoping to win that one-time big time.

No matter what we believe in, there is no right or wrong when it comes to a personal perspective.
