Money in your pocket is the best proof that your system works, whatever it might be, and you don't owe anyone an explanation. In general, people are pretty good at convincing themselves that something is impossible per se, while it is only impossible for them personally, whatever the reason. It gives you peace of mind, so when you ultimately face the harsh reality, it takes a lot of pain to recognize your own failure. It is far easier to decry someone's achievements or accomplishments, and come up with all kinds of contrived explanations and rationalizations

I do agree that in the end there could be winners, there is a huge gap between winning big (like a jackpot for example) and making a constant living in a casino. You could just go to a casino, put all of your money on some roulette number and end up winning and just leave and that would basically be enough for a year or something (all depends on how much money you put) hence I think it is quite possible to make a big win from gambling. We all know millions of people lost a ton of money on gambling as well.

On games like poker it is quite possible to make a living, on horse racing it might be, on sportsbooks it could be, but when we are talking about dice gaming, that has house edge and in order for anyone to change my mind I need to see a proof of someone who made a living from a game like dice that has house edge.
