As far as I know, the bounty manager of Centra cheated the participants by not paying them. Many participants were not paid on that project not because the project owner did not pay them but because the bounty manager hoards the token that is supposed to be for the participants.

It is not that easy, don't just check them on their website, they should verify all the details especially the profile of the project team member through calling the company where they are working, or they are affiliated with. Aside from that, those achievements listed on their profile must be verified too. That is one of the best ways if the team and their profile are legit.

You are right, the bounty manager has become a scam and does not make payments to bounty hunter. If they made the payment, there would have been a lot of people who became rich when participating in this campaign, but unfortunately everything bad happened. And eventually the CEO of this project was arrested and put in jail
