USDT is also the most controversial stablecoin. There are other better options that are having independent audit without any issue like TUSD and USDC (from coinbase and circle). I think these two options are better than USDT and paxos. Decentralized stablecoins are also a solution but they can break like many smart contracts that have broken in the past due to price fluctuations.
