This will help you to avoid from committing mistakes. Remember, ignorance of the law excuses no one even if you are a quality poster.

Obeying the rules is an effort to keep your account good and your contribution will be rewarded with things like merit and reputation. Forum life is almost the same as real life, imo because there are many things we get here that we also get in real life such as interactions between users.
