So, I guess he was destined to just drop dead that day, regardless of the cops actions, then?

How should I know when he was destined to die?
But the cops inaction when he got sick (possible heart attack?) didn't help. He should have tried to help him, and when dead, tried to resuscitate him.

Then there's the crazy idea that he should not have ignored his pleas for help while kneeling on his neck.
