I've seen many casinos running their signature campaigns for as short as one week only, enrolling maybe a dozen posters at the outside. It's an incredible waste of money.

That's why we see so many casino's failing to get more users on their site since they just think about short term promotion imagine how many casinos running today and if they will not do a continuous promotion for sure they will be covered up for those companies who run their advertisement for long time period. Advertisement is part of the business to make it successful so this one should be focus on the companies if they want to gain good results.

Advertisements are important to not only get your name out there but to not make people forget you as well. Think about companies like coca cola for example, or mcdonalds, do you really think they need to get their name out there?

Everyone knows who they are and everyone who drinks (or not drink) realizes their brand no matter where they go, it is all around the world and they are huge, yet they still do advertisement. Why? Because as long as you keep reminding people you exist, they will continue to have that somewhere in their minds, if you do not advertise like them, people will soon slowly forget that you exist and move to other companies. Hence why casinos are not only doing advertisement to get known, but also make you want to gamble as well.
