Well, technically it's kinda sorta unlimited. As long as you're a merit source you can't run out of sMerits, not permanently anyway.
Does that mean people have unlimited money if they stable jobs with stable income?
The amount is unlimited, however there is the velocity factor. Like unlimited internet - you don't have an explicit cap in GB but the speed of your connection defines how much of that unlimited amount you can actually use.
