True mate. Don't let others limit what you can do and don't let their judgment affect what you can and can't do. It's not only limited to being poor tbh, but it's also being unaffected when they say that you can't do it, but if you trust yourself completely, whether it is a failure or not, just do it. I've had my fair share of being affected by what others have thought of me, leading to a series of really bad consequences that I myself judge to be regrets of my life. Even now, I still get affected, but I try not to, slowly anyway. But try not to be a self-centered ass along the way Grin.

Also, no need to wallow in depression, especially right now where even standing back up is especially hard due to the recent events. You should continue living your life, being broke isn't the end, breaking up with your gf isn't the end, losing your job isn't the end, consider it as a new start.
