Regarding imports to the EU and many other countries there may not be a tariff per-se but there is very often VAT to be paid upon landing by whoever is importing for redistribution or directly receiving the miners. Once actually in the country and received by the importer or direct recipient then there should no further VAT incurred when resold within that country or the EU

I'd definitely look into that as I know the UK has 25% VAT as I recall and no doubt if the gear 1st lands in a VAT country redistribution from there to the US would be prohibitive because the US Tariff is still due upon landing here -- ouch!
all that is correct about the vat, luckily my vat actually is 0% so i can offer good price in eu about the usa if is like you said you still have to pay tariff because manufactured in china unless i send you as a gift
