It's definitely going to get worst from here because ETH right is pumping like crazy and, higher the ETH gets pumped more will be the gas price. If you check ethgasstation 91 GWEI is the standard gas price right now (as of writing).

Now the narrative of vatalik about high fee has been totally changed it is a big joke while in the beginning they were claiming low transactions fee is good. It is happening because of DEFI and now insane pump of ETH. I also think it will become worse scenario in future when people have to pay more high fee.

I hope they will make the network more scalable in the coming days because I transact in small amounts a lot (daily payments) coz of that I am losing a lot on fees. If I am not mistaken fees on ETH and BTC is almost the same now.
