Gun control is not possible in the United States, because they have very high rates of violent crime, especially home invasion. If you don't own a gun, then it is like asking for your death. I vehemently disagree with the logic behind your conclusion, and find it personally offensive to the highest level, to the point where I was motivated so much by this comment that i came in to post right here and now after years.

People have an inalienable, undeniable, right to bear arms. This has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not their mammy can protect them, else they also have the same right to die for that belief.

That's it, literally it. Because you exist, you have every right to bear arms and deal with the consequences.
