Not really, in 2017 when Bitcoin went to ath,,, so did a lot of alts, in fact 90% of alts just went crazy like Bitcoin and it was only when Bitcoin dropped that alts dropped even harder. It is just now not yet the true bull run for btc which explains why we have not seen alts explode yet (and ETH is different on its own this time).

Either we are not getting development updates through their ANN and from their telegram group, it is an indication they have already left the project without any developments, that's why we should be very careful when investing any new project. Without any proper investigation definitely it will lead us to lose more money.
