Taxes from the government in a country is a must and there will be some punishment if we do not pay for taxes. Evading tax is an offence but we can avoid tax paying like how warren Buffet did that, Tax is for the middle class and salaried people because rich people knows how to avoid them.

If you can avoid them in a legitimate way like investing in something which for the tax saving purpose etc then it is beneficial way. Else you know that tax evasion is a crime and results in penalty and also can be sent to prison. So why to do such thing when you can pay normal taxes and enjoy the earning as well rather than facing those prisons.

Avoiding taxes are legit and most of the rich people are paying very less taxes compared to the working class people that is the main reason they are getting richer and richer.But for someone who is working for someone it is hard to avoid the taxes because everything will be on record so if you are not paying then it will be considered as crime.
