Just to make things clear, that bid system isn't always fair. I don't call professional someone who is ready to fill a task that worth 1000$ for just few bucks. It's maybe an advantage for the job poster, but it's an indecent way for those great workers who can't devaluate their skills by bidding low against others. This why i like freelancers/job-posters using bitcointalk forum who can chose with whom to work and all they requirement is to pay for an escrow who is also considered as a freelancer offering services in the net.

It isnt something new and this had been a pretty common problem when it comes to freelancing where competition gets really too high and of course we do know that there are experts and theres are amateurs
but on the situation you had mentioned.Its not always been the case because theres are job posters which are really strict when it comes to the quality of the potential freelancer in spite of its rate.
