Buying it at around USD7,000 is fine. But it is much better if I will wait for it to go down a little bit, maybe around 4,000 to 6,000 USD. That's a sure profit if bitcoin went again on 12k, or even 10k. But it's the largest if it went up to the moon. Are you still expecting that the price will dip below $8000? If that happens then it indicating that the short term uptrend already snaps and it is now transitioning into downtrend. The price will not dip at that level so do not expect that will happen because we are now in bullish market. This market is full of opportunities where we can make money by just holding.

For those who are not used to trade cryptocurrencies actively, I prefer to them to just do trend following. But be sure that you will buy in tranches. What do I mean by tranches? It is like pyramiding where you will buy bitcoin every breakout and not all in for you ro manage your risks very well.
