Assuming that the minimum prizes do grow linearly, we have this ramp-up for the smaller prizes (but that wasn't the main reason the competition was +ev):
7 day: 0.5 mBTC
15 day: 0.75 mBTC
25 day: 1 mBTC
50 day: 1.25 mBTC
Maybe it'll go up to 1.5, who knows.
Regardless, the prize pool, once divided between the participants, comes to an amount that is higher than all of the prizes combined.
I don't mind sharing that yeah, that the first three prizes I got were exactly the same in amount (20 freebets on blackjack), so I have a feeling it's also dependent, as the ToC suggested, on your playing behaviour. I didn't exactly keep track but I've been betting more or less the same in the first 2 weeks. Took a bit of a bigger risk after that so maybe I might see a bigger prize, but perhaps I didn't hit a threshold.
I believe there are video streaming options. There is a "switch view" button that will reduce the size of the stream, and there is also a quality setting. Alternatively, if you use a plugin or some JS, you could completely eliminate the iframe/canvas that hosts the stream and just play the game exclusively.
It switches me automatically to low res options too, and at times it just completely cuts out the video and let's me play as if it's a normal table.
