Higherhighs, along with any other player, is free to send in screenshots of chat that they feel violates the rules posted. The decisions regarding whether this will result in a mute is then made by SwC management.
As we do not currently have a chat moderator present there have been a number of players that have assisted with this, and with relaying player feedback. But as always we invite all players to directly give us that feedback or message if they choose.
If any player has made comments with the intention of representing themselves as a part of the SwC team we would ask you to email support with a screenshot because this is not true and would not be allowed.
Higherhighs and/or SWC can you please explain why the chat below resulted in a chat ban? Is there a specific rule I violated? Can you also let me know how I was notified that I was chat banned, because I was not aware of it at all. You did not explicitly tell me on July 31st and I did not receive an email from support about it prior to getting back into town on August 9th. This conversation occurred at approx 5:00 UTC on Friday July 31st. I played a little around 13:00 UTC on Friday the 31st and could chat, then I left town on vacation within a couple of hours of that. I did not log into SWC while on vacation (Does SWC have the capability to check this?) however I definitely peaked at the games several times on the devices I always use to see if any games were running that were worth playing but there were none (Does SWC have the capability to check this either because you do seem to call into question the fact that I was out of town during my ban). I logged back into SWC and played when I got back home sometime around 5:00 UTC on Sunday August 9th and could chat. I have emailed support regarding this and have yet to receive a detailed response. I am also curious why does it take so long to ban someone? If you would have just revoked my chat while I was chatting I would have known that this ban actually existed. I would have known I had strike one and had a week to process what I obviously think is a very unjust act.
