Your laptop can't handle 24/7 mining even if it's a alienware or asus rog laptop, you will kill the laptop pretty fast, don't even try to mine with your phone either, it will die faster, you can get a cheap gpu and try to play around with that using a desktop pc

You are right. This happens if you try to mine PoW based token on laptop or cell phone. MASS is different in a sense that it doesnt require computational power of your device, it only requires you to stake your HDD and it wont effect performance of your device.

MASS is an amazing project that bring PoC consensus algorithm to main stream. Before MASS not many knows about the PoC consensus algo. PoW based tokens like BTC need expensive mining hardware. To mine MASS you only need HDD.
