Why you are trying to trade face to face instead of bank or other method? In bitcointalk I have almost never seen any complete trade which made on face to face. Also usually I see this type of post only from newbie account. Also I am surprised how you will trade face to face in 3 state!!

1. F2F bc you avoid dealing with institutions. There is much more reasons and they are different for each of us.
On other hand you facing fear/probability of headache and sometimes not showing up person you wish to trade with
2. The key word is "Almost".
3. You where the same "newbie" a while ago. But now you probably have some trust. So why I can't be the same.
4. I'm do travel a lot. IL- where I can meet almost any time in person

Scammers and etc sort of people come and go. I'm here to do business and earn money. If you don't believe in F2F trades it doesn't mean they are not there. You can try it out by yourself (or any one from this community) and have a feedback under this post.
