People are using ETH and providing it as liquidity for these new projects and hence the price started gaining momentum and other than that no one will be using it as the transaction charges are high and everyone is hoping that the development team will roll out their updates so that all these bottleneck issues will be sorted.

I really hope the eth team is doing something to these high gas fees. Many small traders and eth holders are affected by these expensive fees. They badly need to fast track their developments and not fail their supporters.
But on the other note, not even one month the OP posted this thread and the eth price is almost touching the $400 level again. Hope we will see the $500 mark very soon.
