i am not affecting myself with these kind of people because i believe that we cannot please everybody and also,they will never be happy in our achievements as they will always say something against our success.

Yes, that's the reality of life. That's why even if you have thousands of friends in facebook, maybe you only have less than 5 of these people that you can really count on in your desperate times. It is better to be happy alone rather than have lots of fake friends. So long you are not harming anyone, and your conscience is clear, you can live a happy and contented life.
