I think $100 is a good investment monthly and don't do it every day because the fees is too much for that and if you do this for the next 5 years, you might ended up with a lot of bitcoin at a very expensive value because many believes that bitcoin will continue to reach highs when the time comes. I also suggest not just to hold bitcoin but also know when to sell your holdings, because bitcoin will always go up and down in the next 5 years.
