I want to make my faucet run off of a-ads or something else that pays in bitcoin, so the funds would go directly to the faucet.

It'll be quite hard to create a self-sustaining faucet from the beginning ^{[expect more losses than gains]}.

I used to be involved with faucets back in the day and finding a way to fully protect faucets against bots was ^{[and still is]} easier said than done.
^{- I do know that a lot has changed since then (in terms of protection) but bot creators are more creative now.}
