Yeah, a flag seems a bit much, and I agree with our reasoning. Theymos has locked other accounts upon request, Mdayonliner comes to mind. I think there's very little risk the account will be used again, and less likely that it'll be hijacked by a scammer.

If I had to guess; I would say the keys were not "compromised" per say, but rather the private keys have been purged and destroyed. Maybe a bad choice of words, or maybe deliberately chosen revoke the keys' integrity.
