A lot of people are hesitant with bitcoin because of the usual reasoning of volatility and aside from that the duration/fee of transaction. But if they will use other alts like maybe xrp or doge as payment, they won't complain much about the volatility and tx duration. But the problem is, btc is the most popular crypto up until this day, so it is hard to introduce other coins to the mainstream consumption. But if more and more people will patronize the usage of btc as payment, I guess those volatility factors will not be a question anymore from the users.
