Maybe Jordan only said this because he is a good friend with Kobe as what he said during the time Kobe died. He would rather picking someone 2nd who is much closer than him rather than someone who isn't. What is this talks about anyways? You won't really know the real answer on who is the best as there will always be bias when it comes to these kinds of talks.

People look on different factors on the players performance, so they could be bias, like myself, I could be bias as well but to make it fair, let's conclude that these 3 are hall of famers already but there's only one GOAT and that is MJ.

If we keep comparing, that is not good as we will not be able to appreciate LBJ which is the only one active now in the sport.
