Can you be more specific about what "secured deal" means? Does this exchange have any KYC verification and if yes, how you trade there without passing the proccedure?
Do not deposit any money to any site for verification purpose. You will lose that money.
It is a scam for sure. No legit business will ask you for a 0.1 btc deposit to verify yourself.
If some sites even ask for verification deposit then its only cents not 1300$-1400$
Most likely you have been sent "fake btc" through this site. Thats not real btc and cannot be withdrawn. Dont have high hopes for that and just move on.
If you paid to get money there then unfortunately you got scammed already and lost funds, but avoid doing same mistake twice and do not feed these scammers.
Its a good that you first came here and asked instead of sending that deposit.
You are mostly right but we don't know all the parameters/ details of this specific case, not even if the one who asks the amount is the real support of the exchange.
With a very small checking test, I tend to agree with you and I will not deposit anything there but I might be wrong.
