You can remove them whenever you want but i am more curious why will you want to remove those coins? One fact is that the coin might be worthless now but it is only "now". You never know when the real value of the coin will be in 1 years or few years down the road just like what happen to bitcoin

Some projects also delayed their effort due to the market situations and another key factors. so i preffer not to dump them. even if theyre 0 value "right now". on some cases we can see the development after few months or 1 - 2 years.
