That part isn't correct. Trading with leverage has higher risk than holding. With holding, you cant loose all your funds. But with trading, you can loose any amount. Especially when you are trading with leverage.

Not true in all cases, if you don't close the order the loss is only on the paper. Similar logic for HODL, the longer the investor keeps the position the higher the chances the price will return to the original level one day. Leverage trading can be risky for newbies but experienced traders know how to use it effectively in the volatile crypto markets.
