That's the two main problem:

1. The gambler who is addicted will never reveal his secret
~ The reason why is this happening is either his love ones are the toxic type of family or he's too paranoid that if he tell to his family about his addiction, he might be judged or even worst.

2. The Family doesn't even know how to notice something unusual to their members of the family
~ Well, this is connected to the first I've mentioned, if your family is a toxic one then you should expect that they always care less on the family members except themselves, that's why having a healthy family is important to let everyone grows and not drag each other down.

Those two major factors that I've mentioned above should always be neglected in a family. Families don't need toxic traits but instead they should spread love in every each of them, so secrets would never exist and they would just happily open up to each other to seek help when they can't solve it alone.

Number one, his family doesn't care about him, so that person needs to find what he likes, and coincidentally, he was introduced to gambling, and he became addicted. If his family doesn't realize that matter, sooner or later, that person will get into big trouble and it is very hard to solve.

Number two, it is happening in this era. Many families don't care about their family members because they are busy doing what they want. They seem careless with each other, and sometimes, they have arguments with each other. They only know if their needs are already filled, they think that it is enough and they will let them use it for whatever they want. They don't think that their family members need affection for each other.

If we are family, we need to take care of each other and always ask or give attention to every family member, so they don't think the family abandons them.

Once that person becomes addicted, we know what will happen to him, and the worst is he can commit suicide like what we know that is happening in many cases.
