It's hope that sustains those who are hodling their coins, without hope that the coin they are holding will give them big profit in the future then there is no use HODLING their coins, it's no easy to HODL for a long time, it's very tempting to sell it when you need money especially in times of pandemic or when you are already in profit and you fear that the market will crash and you will lose your opportunity to make a profit.

That is right that holding is not easy because there are times that you want to sell your coins especially if you do not have patience. Before you hold, you should be prepared in different situations that may come where in you should have patience and know the right time to sell all of your coins. If you sold it in just a small gain, maybe you will regret later because maybe the price will become more expensive.
