In this top 10 list clearly there is a big gap between Bitcoin and the other altcoins. What causes this and will other altcoin ever catch up with Bitcoin?

for me the big difference between bitcoin and other TOP altcoins is only community not the price
because all Top altcoins community is a part from bitcoin community right ? but not all bitcoin community is a part from top altcoins community
