Yes, increased strength and stamina, and if i overdo things physically, there's less time needed to regenerate.
Yesterday i tried to take a short bath in 5°c water, but i failed because of the pain in my feet and ankles Embarrassed

I knew it hurts, but i can't recall that it hurt that much before, been about 15 years now when i was wading in an alpine fountain. Felt like after a good hit with a baseball bat when i was out of the water. My wife, who joined in, also suffered from some initial pain, but not so much that she needed to get out. She's almost 10 years younger than me, so maybe there's an underlying ageing factor.
I'll try next weekend with 500mg within three days in advance, and i'm already curious if it will help. If it doesn't, i guess i have to buy a pair of neoprene socks

Overall i'm doing considerably better.

There is also the option of not wading around in ice cold water.
