You are quite wrong to have sold a lot of bitcoins, the fact that has been going on for the past few weeks says it all. There was a lot of forecasts for prices to rise sharply by year's end on this forum, and that was true. Over 18k now but still a good time to hold.

before the Bitcoin price doesn't drop from $ 16,000 it's still good to hold,
especially if it's still above $ 17,000 it's also very worth it to hold,
I assume that there will be some fud drama before this Christmas,
so we have to be careful about market reactions.

It’s hard to predict any accurate price for bitcoin and due to its volatility, it can rise or fall drastically which is for sure. But if anyone is making profits at levels which they would have thought at the time of purchasing and achieving it then should not be worrying much unless they are able to predict the next price move and if it continues to rise. But if do not have that technical knowledge then it is good to sell in profits and not regretting later when it rises unless sold in a panic mode.
