Actually, we know the limit, but we break our limit and continue playing gambling for more. So that makes us get more losses without realizing because we can feel enjoy and forget to use that limit. That is why we see many gamblers lose their money than to win the money. If we still do that, we can stay longer and we can not enjoy the game because our minds will be affected to recover the lost money.

Sometimes we can not accept if we lose, and we decide to continue with the hope that we will win for the next round.

I am sure that the emotional feeling will be bigger no matter if we win or lose because it will work in the unconscious that tells us to feel that. We can feel mad if we lose and still continue playing, but we can feel happy and not think about stopping the game.
