I just tried downloading the snapshot and tested the hash. It was correct for me. Could you tell me what command you tried to use? It is SHA256.

I have postponed my attempts, waited a couple of days and downloaded new zip file with the fresh date. This time everything was OK, hash matched that one published on site. BTW, I have noticed that wallet is out of commission if it hasn’t been opened for some time, a week or so.
