Yes, the excuse is old and lame, but lets not make quick conclusions. If this is a repeated "mistake", then the user is guilty. If based on their posting history they dont look identical, then better make a deeper research and make a verdict.
I don't think this is unconvincing. This address appears only once, and I have not found more matches.
This was likely the usual carelessness. Moreover, all other subscription applications for both accounts have different wallets.
Here something else is more interesting. And it has to do with the account @
XxmoddedHe has an accusation in the meta section that this account was hacked. The owner was trying to find help from the community and most likely could have signed the message from the address that was posted earlier. BUT, unfortunately, the case was not continued.
