Yes, there have been some coins IIRC one of those was 42 coin, it was worth much more than BTC in early days of crypto. And it dumped down so hard that it's now not even listed on any exchanges anymore. You should not go after any coin that's worth more against BTC but should rather check the volume availability of a coin that allows you liquidity, because if you can't liquidate your position anytime, it's not worth to invest in such coin/token.

I clearly know and understand whatever OP has discussed here and it was my opinion. BTW, about the marketcap, none of the coins will ever reach where BTC stands in terms of marketcap (except some shitcoin with billions in supply gets to reach even $0.01 and gets listed on coinmarketcap which already happened before, it surpassed BTC in terms of marketcap but the volume was peanuts). That's the reason I asked OP to look for coins which have better liquidity to be able to exchange it any moment they want to.
