Not having had the funds nor the opportunity to get a higher education, I would absolutely have loved to have been able to. That said, my career has been a good one, but was never what I "wanted to be when I grew up". For that I would definitely have needed the paper backup that a proper post secondary education brings. Not to mention that it definitely increases your earning potential.

A lot of the worlds most famous entrepreneurs did not finish higher education. And even today Google are creating their own requirements to get hired.
