That is not really a horrible idea. Find coins that are inheritly known a lot more than other coins, be down for certain reason for now, invest into it, wait for the price to go back to where it was once upon a time and you can get super rich.

However I doubt you can make a 100x return from these, I mean I don't know vechain, but XRP is at around 32 cents, 100x of that would be 32 dollars, which I am pretty sure won't happen, or if it does that means we turned into purely crypto world, or tron for example Tron 0.03 dollars could become 3 dollars, I am not sure if it would be that high, sure it could be higher than 0.03 no doubt but 3 dollars seems a bit unlikely. Long story short the idea of "buy when it is undervalued because of a reason, sell when it gets back" is a great idea and I support that, I just do not think 100x would be in the play for them.
