Orphan blocks happen all the time. Yes I know this, I said nothing about that because its common knowledge.

What I explained were the consequences of having an earlier lower fee tx be the one in the longest chain. This means RBF provides no guarantees, it means that in BTC you must wait for confirmation - as you restated.

If that makes you panic you should probably ask yourself why.
