Do you have any info on the actual chips? All I can ever find online are things like "It uses a BM1387 for hashing" etc, but never any specifics about these chips. Were they designed by Bitmain, then sent off to TMSC for mass production?

I'm curious, as I just started playing around with VHDL and FPGAs, so I'm pondering doing a design as a hobby/side project.
