I honestly think that we are in a situation where people do not really care about gold that much if they are very young (under 30-35 years old) and know what crypto can achieve. Gold is still quite larger, even 10x bigger than the whole crypto market, but we are talking about something that has been around for thousands and thousands of years, so it is really normal for people to trust gold more than they trust crypto.

However the difference is that newer generation has a lot more people putting their money into crypto rather than gold, sure the number may still be heavily favoring gold but I believe when older generations die and younger generations get older, next generations that will come will favor crypto even more. This may take about 50 years maybe but I believe bitcoin will 100% be worth more than gold for sure, it is inevitable in my mind.
