I'm highly skeptical of your reasoning behind your predictions. I don't think we'll ever see mass acceptance of Bitcoin among governments.
It is good and important that you are skeptical, but it is obvious that the government does not want bitcoin because they cannot control it. If the state implements some kind of control, then they will allow it.

I guess the adoption still happens, and with the growth of bitcoin, people are trying to learn before they join bitcoin. I think that is what the institutions do when they want to integrate their system into bitcoin.
that's exactly what i think is a good point of view. attention has recently risen to the same level as in 2017 and people are skeptical and want to find out more. then read about paypal, tesla and mastercard and think "if these big companies do that, then it's legal and good".
Take a look at the google trend. it is not yet at the same level worldwide and if people now live in a lockdown and have a lot of time, then they also have a lot of time to get information and learn faster.
