when I tried octopus with TRex using nice hash it gave me "error during benchmark" currently I'm mining ZHash with gminer using nice hash and I'm getting 0.00001 btc a day it's at 26sol/s such a bummer considering my gpu is almost as powerful as an rx 570 4gb

I'm not surprised you getting error, Nicehash sucks in some areas pal, it's better to download separate octopus algorithm miner and find a pool that you can mine conflux on, there is no limit in trying, the result might be satisfying
