The trend has changed but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't think that the big bear market won't happen. Elon entering the crypto market is a big thing but we don't have an assurance that the momentum won't be break. Elon is now even one of the reasons that can trigger a bear market if he wants. As to how he created a trend, with just one negative tweet from him, it can start a market breakout.

Don't mind the 2018 bear market. Focus on the current one.

Because the 2018 market was different from what we have now. There are so many players now in the crypto market, and the adoption is bigger than before. A lot of known companies are integrating crypto as part of their payment method, which is a good thing for adoption. Bear market is always to be expected, and maybe right now, we are already experiencing it as btc goes down to about 53k level. But as there are so many stakeholders now, and others that want to get in, I believe it will go up again. I prefer slow increase.
