Some of the movies aren't pretty bad, but for a complete novice to the Bitcoin network, watching movies will prolly not give you a wide range of understanding about what Bitcoin is and other whatnots, imo, movies will be more suitable for people who already have a background knowledge of the network, and are looking for easier and more convenient ways to increase their knowledge.

On the other way round, this may seem to be untrue, novices have the quickest knowledge about blockchain through some clear demonstrate of processes and eye catching some blockchain tools would be more preferred than constant reading on paper, as long as the pictorial images stays in their brain, then they are good to from the lower lever knowledge about cryptocurrencies and blockchain as a whole.
